I'll be in Austin. But you already knew that. :P

btw, some jb buttons will be given away (first come, first serve) as well. :P

It's a shame that all this posting has probably worn you out and you won't be able to party. Rest up, because we'll be going for round two of bar-hopping this year.
  • Dan Rubin · 2 years ago
@Jina: sweet, save me a button please :P

@Garrett: Yeah, I'm worn out, but never too much to miss dragging your ass around 6th Street... though I'd prefer if we didn't get jaywalking tickets this time, mm'k? ;)

    Can't wait!

To all y'all who've got buttons: you'll need 'em to get into the SXNW party. Just make sure I have one and you're golden, otherwise it's Vinnie and the back door. Oh and don't let any of the other hosts fool you, I'm the guy who gets the buttons.

    I've got buttons! Wheee!
So yeah, this is going to be a seriously good time. Panels and night-life. Who needs sleep anyway? Not me, that's for sure!
  • Jeremy Hubert · 2 years ago
oh my. here it comes again.

This time, I'll be sure to pace myself with the tequi... oh nevermind. ;)

    2. more. days.
  • Erik Sagen · 2 years ago
Booyah! Yeah, so not a very constructive comment or one that adds anything to the conversation but it's all I got.

    Just a few more days.

Ohhh, and I'll have me some buttons!
  • Patrick Haney · 2 years ago
Apparently all the cool kids will have buttons this year. Buttons are the new business card.

I will also have some to give out, featuring the time tested "ph" on them, so maybe I'll save one for you. Hook me up with one of the "secret project" buttons in return!
  • Jonathan Snook · 2 years ago
My buttons better show up or there'll be hell to pay. I won't be able to get into any of the parties! Gah! But of course, I'll be there. Sidebar representin'

I'll flip ya a Wishingline, Veer and Darns button for a Project Cheese button. See ya Friday!
  • Jina Bolton · 2 years ago
I see Scott knows the secret project's code name. hehe. Speaking of... why *didn't* we make any buttons with CHEESE on it? Maybe next year...
  • Dan Rubin · 2 years ago
@Jina: does it count that all this button talk is a bit cheesy? ;)
  • Richard Rutter · 2 years ago
Man, this 'buttons' thing is confusing. We call them 'badges' on this side of the Atlantic. Buttons are what you use to fasten a cardigan or do up your trousers.
  • Mike Stickel · 2 years ago
All this button talk makes me glad I didn't spring for business cards but sadly I missed the "badge" train too. Oh well, there's always next year. T minus 1 day and change (for me anyway).

It is true that the general public does understand that something is “worth something” but all too often the “coders” are so caught up in “the internet is free” that they loose site os the end goal.
